We'd rather you didn't rely on us for that: remove or destroy the drive before handing a machine over. If you'd prefer, pull the hard disk out and keep it, it barely changes the value.
Do you buy from offices in bulk?
Yes, that's most of our e-waste. Tell us roughly how many units and we'll arrange a vehicle and a time that doesn't disrupt your floor.
Is a broken laptop worth anything?
Yes, the board, screen assembly and casing all have value even when it won't power on.
What happens to it afterwards?
Electronics go to recyclers set up to handle them rather than into general waste. That's the reason to sell it rather than bin it.
